Richard Robert D'Aoust

Le 31 décembre 2015, à l'âge de 73 ans, Richard Robert D'Aoust est décédé paisiblement à la maison entouré de toute sa famille après huit longues années de combat acharné contre un cancer du côlon. Il était le fils de feu Edgar D'Aoust et Aurélia Lasalle. Il laisse son amour avec qui il a partagé sa vie pendant 52 ans, Thérèse D'Aoust (Paquette). Il était le père très aimé de ses enfants Chantal D'Aoust-Bernard (Mario Bernard), Stéphane (Valérie Bertrand), André (Deborah McCauley). Il était le grand-père adoré de Simon et Maxim Bernard, de Marie-France et Lina D'Aoust, de Kevin et Jacob D'Aoust. Il laisse aussi ses soeurs et frères: Micheline (feu Michel Marcoux), Claudette (Maurice Pilote), Louise, Lisette, Diane (Claude Therrien), Michel (France Lapierre), Luc et feu Gilles, Pierre et Jacques ainsi que plusieurs oncles, tantes, neveux, nièces, beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, cousins, cousines et ami(e)s. Il fut contremaître ferblantier pour Comstock Int. durant 40 ans et membre du Local 47 pendant 55 ans. Un merci très spécial à Dr André Gauthier et à Lorraine Gauthier pour leurs soins et leur dévouement inlassable ainsi qu'à Dre Christine Cripps et son équipe. Les visites auront lieu au salon funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180 ch. Montréal, Ottawa) vendredi le 8 janvier 2016 à partir de 14h00 à 16h00 et 19h00 à 21h00. Condoléances auront lieu samedi le 9 janvier à l’Église Saint-Gabriel (55 rue Appleford, Ottawa) à 10h30 suivi du service commémoratif à 11h. Peacefully passed away surrounded by his family at home after eight long years of battle with cancer on December 31st 2015, at the age of 73 years. Predeceased by his parents Edgard D’Aoust and Aurélia Lasalle. He leaves behind his beloved wife, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage, Thérèse D’Aoust (née Paquette). Loving father of Chantal D’Aoust-Bernard (Mario Bernard), Stéphane (Valérie Bertrand), André (Deborah McCauley). He was the caring grandfather of Simon and Maxim Bernard, Marie-France and Lina D’Aoust as well as Kevin and Jacob D’Aoust. He leaves his sibling: Micheline (feu Michel Marcoux), Claudette (Maurice Pilote), Louise, Lisette, Diane (Claude Therrien), Michel (France Lapierre), Luc and late Gilles, Pierre, Jacques as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. Richard was a foreman at Comstock Int. for 40 years and dedicated member of Local 47 for 55 years. A very special thank you to Dr. André Gauthier and Lorraine Gauthier, Dr. Christine Cripps along with their staff for the care and unwavering dedication provided. The family invites relatives and friends for visitations at the Racine, Robert and Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd., Ottawa) on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A memorial mass will take place Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11 am at the Saint-Gabriel Church (55 Appleford St., Ottawa). In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s memory to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation – Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
