Bob was one of the most creative people I have known in my life.  He was especially gifted in creating visuals, but like all artists, he saw potential in simple objects that others ignored.  He created whimsical and beautiful objects as part of the reminders of meetings for our book club.  Most of the members have a complete archive of these, as they were far too ingenious to ever throw away.  Bob was also very kind, generous and funny.  I will miss him terribly.  He left the world a better place than he found it. 

My condolences to the Pierce Family.  Mr. Pierce taught English, at Sir Wil, back in the mid 80's.  He was a very patient and understanding.  He was one of my favourites!  So sad to hear of his passing.

Bob was an amazing friend and was always there for me over the years. He was talented and creative and I valued his friendship and wonderful counsel over the years. I first met Bob in the 1960s and benefited from his friendship from those days on. I will miss our talks and visits and his emails both long and short. I was truly lucky to be able to count Bob as my friend.
