Robert Dale Faris

In loving memory of Robert Dale Faris. He passed away peacefully on October 17, 2026 at the age of 86.

Dale was the cherished husband of Hilary (Radmore) for 60 years; loving and proud father of David, Duane and Beth; adoring grandpa of Lee, Ruby and Miles. Predeceased by parents Foster and Roberta (McCord) Faris and brother Eldon Faris (Ann Allen). He will be missed by sister-in-law Linda Poaps (late, Stan).

Dale was an auditor for the office of the Auditor General of Canada for 28 years, including a four-month assignment as part of the Canadian delegation to the United Nations in New York City. He received a promotion for his work and findings during the UN job.

Dale could be found restoring and working on his 57 Chevs, as well as spending time with his many car friends. He enjoyed spending time at the family cottage, which was located on the property of the Faris farm in Breckenridge, Quebec. Dale enjoyed travelling with Hilary to many places in North America, Cuba and Europe. Dale loved time with his family.

Dale valued his relationship with the Lord, and attending services and activities at Cedarview Alliance Church.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at St. Patrick's Long Term Care for their exceptional care and kindness.

Friends and family may pay respects at McEvoy and Shields Funeral Home and Chapel at 1411 Hunt Club Road on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 from 6-9PM and Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 10-11AM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21 at 11AM.
