Survived by his beloved second wife Lucille Albert. His death is preceded by his first wife Georgette LaRocque, his parents Wilfred Louis Belair and Muriel (Hiscoe), his brothers Gordon, Gerry, Maurice, and sister Joan, and sister-in-law Cleone. He had many fond memories of his two families on the Belair and Albert side. He leaves behind the much loved Belair in-laws Yvonne and Denise, his nieces and nephews of his brothers and sister, and his step children and grand/great children of Lucille's family.
Roger lived his life on his terms, was a sportsman, had a great sense of humour, loved to dance and loved country music and concerts. He was a thoughtful and caring person who supported many in their time of need.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
As per his wishes only a burial service will be given at the Notre Dame Cemetery, 455 Montreal Rd, Ottawa Ontario, Lot 34 on November 13, 2025, from 3:00PM to 4:00PM.
