Loving son of the late Edna Longchamps (mother) and the late Raoul Plante (father). Beloved husband of Maureen Clarke and loving father of Jocelyne, Colette (Chris), Renee (Serge) and Pierre.
Survived by his grandchildren: Julie-Renee, Kassina, Cole, Chance, Jessica and Alexandre. Survived by his great grandchildren: Tommy, Anthony, Amy-Rose, Eva-Rose, James, Kayden and Skyla.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 10:00 am, at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON. Reception to follow
