Young 'til the end, passed away peacefully and much too soon on Tuesday, February 29, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Sassine. Dear daughter of the late Elias and Wedad Aboud. Loving mother of Sarina and Fouad (Christine Richards). Most caring grandmother of Nazih, Joseph and Taliya. She will be dearly missed by her sisters Mona (Victor Forzley), Maha (Abraham Haddad), Sara (The late Youssef Zouein) and Raghida (George Ayoub), and her brothers Nassif (Rabab), Michel (Ibtisaam) and Joseph (Deanna); and many nieces and nephews.The family will receive relatives and friends at McEvoy-shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 12:00 noon at St. Elias Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive. In memoriam donations to St. Elias Cathedral or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
