Suzanne was born in Ottawa on June 3, 1955. She was the beloved daughter of the late Roger Lafortune of Ottawa and the late Irène (Lalonde) Lafortune of Casselman.
She is survived by her brother, Richard (Diane) Lafortune, and her sisters, Louise (Robert) Ervin and Carole (Thomas) Sheridan. Suzanne was a cherished aunt to Kimberly(Paul), Natasha(Mark), Josée, Blake(Sofie), and Jordan, and will be fondly remembered by her great-nieces and great-nephews: Chloe, Olivia, Jack, Hunter, Charlie, Mallory, Storm, and Robin.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, on Saturday, August 8, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel.
