Sue is survived by her adoring husband of 61 years Claude, her sons Marc (Ellen Morris) and Vincent (Tammy Gervais) and her daughter Lynda Herbert (Gord). She will be dearly missed by her sister Gisele Hamilton (the late Lawrence), her sisters-in-law Pierrette Fontaine (the late Joe), Yvette Fontaine (the late Guy) and Therese Seguin (the late Gerard). Predeceased by her parents Louis-Philippe and Marie-Rose Fontaine as well as her brother Tony (the late Doreen) and her sister Doreen Bertrand (the late Joe). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Alina (Phil), Anna, Matthew, Sarah (Patrick), Katie, Jenny, Alex (Stephanie), Michelle and Jesse. Proud Great Granny to her great-grandchildren Mason, Amelie, Davison, Oliver and Emmett. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Despite Sue's cancer issues over the past several years, she fought so vigorously to the end. She continued to enjoy visits with family, even making them laugh with funny jokes. Special thanks to the amazing care and compassion from the doctors and nurses at the Ottawa General Hospital in the ICU, 7 East and 7 West.
Sue enjoyed being part of the Waterford Retirement Community for a few years, making new friends, and offering a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
