Tarik El-Kassis

Tragically passed away on Thursday morning July 8, 2010, at the age of 60. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years Cecile and his 4 beautiful daughters; Savanah, Yasmine, Magida, Samira and predeceased by 5 children Carolina, Solina, Sabrina, Shadia and Paul. Predeceased by his parents Nawaf and Carolina El Kassis. He will be dearly missed by all of his brothers and sisters; Rita (Badih), Majid (Bassema), Mageda, Marwan (Sheila), Douraid (Pam), Youssef, Mazen (Lyne), Hazzaa and Sakr (Cynthia), his mother-in-law Jeanne Legros, his brothers-in-law Jean (Suzanne), Paul (Lucie) and sister-in-law of Lise (Jerome) and all his many, many nieces and nephews that adored their Aamo Tony. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and customers in the community of Richmond. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday at 11 am in St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral 750 Ridgewood Avenue at Riverside Drive. Interment Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to St. Elias Cathedral or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Special thanks to the ICU staff at the Ottawa Civic Hospital.
