Terry Ann passed away after a brief battle with Covid-19 and a long battle with Dementia.
Terry will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 30 years, Fred Davis. She leaves behind her 5 children and 2 step children: Jennifer Kealey, Laurie Kealey-Coyle (Jamie Coyle), James Kealey (Anne Gagnon), Michelle Kealey (Matthew Orrbine), Alexandra Kealey-Morin (Jason Morin), Fred Jr. Davis, and Dan Davis.
Together, Fred and Terry shared 9 beautiful grandchildren: Sarah, Julianne, Justin, Stella, Madelyn, Dexter, Jacob, Gabby, and Freddie.
Born February 3, 1941, to parents William and Stella Smith, she leaves behind her devoted brother, John Smith (Genevieve Carreon), beloved sister, Maureen Vivaldi (Mino Vivaldi), and cherished sisters-in-law, Terri McCallum and Candace Dunkley. She will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Terry will be remembered for her love of life, friends, and family. The family would like to take this time to send a special thank you for the love and support of many people who visited Terry during her stay at the Perley Rideau, with a special thank you to Judi Panter, Paula Brennan, Liz Yong, Evelyn Maloney, Agatha Philips, Wally and Lorraine Corbin, and David and Margaret Gussow.
We would also like to thank the wonderful staff, volunteers, doctors, and nurses at the Perley Rideau for Terry’s exceptional care.
There will be a celebration of Terry's life on Saturday, May 14 at 11 a.m. at McEvoy Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa. The service will be livestreamed at www.funeraweb.tv and will be available for viewing for 200 days following the service. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be made to the Perley Rideau Foundation at 1750 Russell Rd, Ottawa, On K1G 5Z6.
