It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Thérèse Bazinet, Wednesday January 22 at the age of 82 years. Daughter of the late Rolland Samson. Loving mother of: Barbara Corneau, Shirley Coy (James) and Jason Leroux (Jessica). Caring grandmother of André Corneau (Heather), Curtis Corneau (Monica), Shian Coy (Jenn), Crystal Corneau (Warren), Gavin Leroux, Matthew Leroux and Josephine Carruthers. Devoted great-grandmother of 8. She leaves to mourn her sister-in-law Gisèle Samson as well as 2 nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her daughter Louise Bazinet and her brother Jean-Marie Samson.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral home, 180, Montreal Road, Ottawa, Saturday, February 1st at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are welcomed to offer their condolence as of 9 a.m.
The family would like to thank the Queensway Carleton Hospital and the Extendicare New Orchard Lodge for the excellent care provided to Mrs. Bazinet. In memory of Thérèse, donations to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation would be highly appreciated.
