Peacefully, at the Ottawa General Hospital on Friday, May 25, 2012 at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of Paul-Emile Laplante and loving mother of Vincent. Survived by her brother Hector Lamarche, and her sister Raymonde Alder and predeceased by sisters Maria Dugal, Jeanne Charlebois, Mea Paris, Anita Deevey, Georgette Mulhall and Irene Séguin and brothers Rhéal, Roland and Jacques. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 7-9 pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road). A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
