Thérèse Lavergne

Thérèse était la fille de feu Thomas Bélanger et de feu Marie-Louise (née Bourassa), et de feu Venicia St-Onge. Elle est l'épouse bien-aimée de Royal Lavergne. Elle manquera beaucoup à ses filles Rosanne Lavergne-Lortie (François Lortie) et Christine Lavergne (Eric Smith); à ses petits-enfants Josée-Anne, Justine et Jean-François; à ses arrière-petits-enfants Kristian, Klara et Riley; et à son frère Louis. Elle a été précédée par ses frères Maurice, Robert et Rémi, et par ses sœurs Claire, Henriette et Reina.

La famille tient à remercier tous les membres de la famille et les amis pour leur gentillesse et leur compassion. Un merci tout particulier aux docteurs Robert MacRae et Melini Gupta ainsi qu'à tout le personnel et aux bénévoles de l'Hospice de May Court.

Une messe commémorative sera célébrée le vendredi 20 octobre 2023 à 11 h à l'Église Sainte-Geneviève, 825, avenue Canterbury, Ottawa. La famille recevra les condoléances de 10h jusqu'à l'heure de la messe.

Des dons à la mémoire de Thérèse à l'Hospice de May Court seraient appréciés par la famille.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thérèse Lavergne on October 4, 2023 at the age of 81.

Thérèse was the daughter of the late Thomas Bélanger and the late Marie-Louise (née Bourassa), and of the late Venicia St-Onge. Loving wife of Royal Lavergne. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Rosanne Lavergne-Lortie (François Lortie) and Christine Lavergne (Eric Smith); her grandchildren Josée-Anne, Justine and Jean-François; her great-grandchildren Kristian, Klara and Riley; and by her brother Louis. She was predeceased by her brothers Maurice, Robert and Rémi, and by her sisters Claire, Henriette and Reina.

The family would like to thank all of their family and friends for their kindness and compassion. A special thank you to Doctors Robert MacRae and Melini Gupta and all of the staff and volunteers at the May Court Hospice.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at on Friday, October 20 2023 at 11am in Sainte- Geneviève Church, 825 Canterbury Ave, Ottawa. The family will receive condolences from 10am until mass time.

Donations made in memory of Thérèse to the May Court Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
