Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Bayfield Manor Nursing Home (Kemptville) in her 94th year on January 21 2015. Beloved wife of the late Simeon (Fred) Mathurin. Dear daughter of the late Arthur Langevin and the late Nellie (Hughes). Survived by one brother Hubert, daughters Paulette Poulin, Cécile Bégin, Jeanne Labrecque (Ted), Barbara Éthier, and sons Ronald (Janet) and John (Patricia). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Donald, Hector, Harry, Norman, Leo, sons-in-laws Donald, Andy, Lenard and great-granddaughter Shawna. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Bayfield Manor for all the care and compassion always shown to our mother (Violet). Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday January 27, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa), as well as Wednesday January 28, 2015 from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St-Ignatius Church (518 Donald Street, Ottawa). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
