Fedelina Jao Durmiendo

Fedelina was born on July 14, 1929 in Samar, Philippines. She was a successful business owner and respected community leader for many years prior to migrating to the U.S. in 1981. She will always be remembered as a generous and caring wife, mother and grandmother.

Fedelina was preceded in death by John, her husband of 60+ years, and daughter, Urcencia Ortiz, She is survived by her children, Minda ( husband Melecio Petralba ), Honesto , Cecilio, Cynthia ( husband Antonio Serrano ), Gil, John Jr., ( wife Getulia ), Morris ( wife Anna ), Marlowe ( wife Cynthia) and son-in-law Mike Ortiz. Fedelina had a total of 23 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren to boot.

Viewing will be on June 27, 2019 from 1-9 pm, with rosary at 6pm, at Funeraria del Angel Oxnard, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd., Oxnard. Mass will be on June 28, 2019 at 9am at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church , 463 W. Pleasant Valley Rd., Oxnard. Following the mass will be the interment service at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 N. H Street, Oxnard.
