She was preceded in death by her husband Anacleto and her daughter Helen. She is survived by her sons Jess (Sandra), and Abel, daughters Mary Manchego, Becky Peña, and Darla Ramirez (Larry), nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandsons. She also has an “adopted” daughter Patsy Kershaw. A little side note…. Nacle used to call mom Honey Honey. We always got a kick out of that.
Our mom was all about family. She lived for her family. For many years she hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas which gave everyone some great memories.
Back in the day before there was a “Taco Tuesday” she would have the family over for “Taco Monday.” It was a family dinner that we all enjoyed very much. There was always something to say about somebody and we would all enjoy the laugh.
There were times friends or family would need a temporary place to stay. Guess who was there to lend a helping hand!! Mom would always open her heart and her home without fail! If anyone needed anything regardless of the situation, we could count on her all the time. One of her absolute dreams was to open a home for girls. Although she could never do it, she helped many others any way she could.
Red was her favorite color; we encourage you to wear something with red in it if you are coming to any of the services for her.
We will miss her terribly. She has been the glue and the rock of this family. Although she will no longer be with us in the physical world, she will always be in our hearts.
Mom, we all appreciate what you have done for us. The lessons learned, the unconditional love you gave always, and your sense of family. These are things we share with our children. We will continue to share stories about you and Tata to our children and grandchildren so you will forever be in their hearts too.
We love you forever mom.
