I'm so very sorry to hear of Nick's sudden passing, I was a neighbor of his & his x-wife's in Marina Village in Port Hueneme, Ca. for awhile when they had come back here from Las Vegas, Nv. some years ago & knew his kids very well due to them being good friends with my daughter, Alissa, & my heart goes out to them now. He did love them more than anything else as far as I had ever seen & he was a great dad! my family too suffered a sudden & just as dear lost a few months ago of my twin brother who also knw Nick breifly & to his mother, I will say a prayer for comfort in this sadden time aswell. our thoughts & heartfelt prayers r with you & the kids now, not many words (at least not that I have found even myself)can bring less pain during this time but hopfully knwing there were some who got to see Nick for the loving father he had been & faught to continue to be even thru his troubles will remember him that way! he is definitly in a better place & will be watching over those kids forever from above!

It's unbelievable that I have to write this to the Moreno family I can't believe Nicolas is gone, and I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now. I still remember running away from Nick chasing Michelle and I around the house with a baseball bat cause we wouldn't play with him.
I'll hold on to that memory and so many others, knowing that they can bring me some small comfort in the face of this overwhelming grief. I know the grief is exponentially greater for you, but I hope you can find some peace in your happy memories, too.
