I m so sorry that I did not keep in touch.  I guess I thought he would be here forever.  Please forgive me for no paying a attention to life.  Shame on me.  Hope you and the boys are well.

Dear Sheila,
Richard was a shining example to me, of what a husband and father should be. He loved his family so much and was so proud of each of you. I enjoyed working with him, and also, listening to his stories of your family vacations. May God be with you all during this sad time.

What a huge loss for the Veteran Community. I cannot imagine how devastating this must be for you all (the family) I spoke with Richard when he got out of the hospital and he was so sure that he would beat this!!! This world shined a bit brighter because of his presence. All of us at the Ventura County Military Collaborative will miss him. I was so sorry to hear of Richards passing and can only say that he will be missed.  I will always have fond memories of his smile, and what a wonderful Irish sense of humor (this British co-worked loved it) as well as the smell of his pipe. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Our deepest sympathy to our sister Sheila, sons Erin and Christopher, daughter in law Erin and their beautiful grandson Jackson on the loss of Richard, Husband, Pops, father in law and Pappa.
