Romeo V. Santos

Romeo Valentin Santos, 71 of Oxnard, CA, passed away on March 12, 2013, due to health issues. Romeo was born in Tondo-Manila, Philippines on March 20, 1941. Romeo was married to Josefina Santos on December 15, 1964; they were married for 49 years.

Romeo worked as a chef for the US Navy for 20 years and worked for the Civil Service at Point Mugu for 19 years. He enjoyed fishing, fixing cars, watching sports on tv, family gatherings, having picnics with family and friends.

Romeo is survived by his wife Josefina, his children Anna Filipina, Ronald Rhoderick, and Lisa, his grandchildren Alanna, Miranda, Jonathan, Eric, Christopher, Boyd, Brittany, and Bryson, his greatgrandchildren Alaina, his brothers and sisters Aurora, Arturo, Ester, Eddie, and Rolando and other family and sister Norma

The family of Romeo Valentin Santos wishes to thank everyone for their love and prayers.

Viewing will be held at FDA Conrad's & James Reardon Mortuary, 401 W. Channel Isl. Blvd. Oxnard, (805)487-4911, Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 4pm to 9pm with recitation of the Rosary at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10am at Saint Anthony's Catholic Church, Oxnard. Burial with full Military Honors will follow at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery, Oxnard.
