Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Southside Baptist Church in Ozark with Reverends Danny Bynum, Johnny Fain and Reid Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held at the church from 2:00pm until service time on Monday. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or to the American Diabetes’s Association.

Mr. Jones was born on August 12, 1933 in Chilton County, Alabama to the late Calvin and Martha Ellen Jones. He was a member at Southside Baptist Church in Ozark and worked in the grocery business in Dale and Pike Counties for over 50 years.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris Jones; his son, Mark Jones.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Jones (Rosemary) of Jasper, AL, Myron Jones (Charlene) of Brundidge, AL; sisters, Voncile Driver of Prattville, AL, Betty Jean Mercer (Bill) of Verbena, AL; brother, Calvin E. Jones, Jr. (Jane) of Verbena, AL; six grandchildren, Chad Jones (Amy), Jason Jones (Kristy), Bro. Thomas Jones, Reid Jones (Kelli), Kimberley Jones and Jennifer Jones; six great-granddaughters, Allison Jones, Jessica Jones, Hudson Jones, Blakley Jones, Lucy Jones and Jordan Jones.
