Howard Melvin Rheam

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 26, 2013, in the chapel at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013, from 6:00 until 8:00pm at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Special Education Department at Ariton High School.

Mr. Rheam was born in Mifflin Co. Pennsylvania on December 4, 1953 to George Melvin and Helen Henrietta Thorn Rheam. He retired from the U.S. Army after serving in the 1st Gulf War and then became a Special Education Teacher at Ariton High School.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Rheam is survived by his spouse, Connie Rheam of Ozark; two sons, Lucas Rheam and Jedadiah Rheam; a grandson, Colby Tyler and his mother, Stephanie Sanders; a special lifelong extended family member, Margaret Richardson and her children, Valerie Roberts and Justin Richardson; a brother, Mike Rheam; four sisters-in-laws; three brothers-in-laws; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
