Jeanette Dansby

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012, from the chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Hart & Rev. Keith Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of DMC or Dale County Humane Society.

Jeanette was born February 1, 1939 in Abbeville, Alabama, daughter of the late William Benjamin Lindsey and Nannie Mae Gamble Lindsey. Mrs. Dansby was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was a CNA and retired from Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center. After retiring, she was active in RSVP and enjoyed providing healthcare to many families. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Dansby.

Survivors include six daughters: Marie Lucas and husband, David; Darlene Batts and husband, Ronald; Linda Turner Adkins; Lisa Dykes, and husband, Jackie Reeves; Donna Reed and husband, Douglas; Tammy Turner, and husband, Bryant Mitchell, III; one son, James Keith Turner; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
