Jimmy DeWayne Davenport Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from the chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00pm until service time.

DeWayne was born on April 22, 1974 in Alex City, AL to Jimmy DeWayne Davenport, Sr. and Janice Kiker Davenport. He was a 1992 graduate of Carroll High School, and a 2012 graduate of Fortis College. DeWayne loved riding his motorcycle, was an artist, and an avid Alabama football fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy DeWayne Davenport, Sr. in 1997.

Mr. Davenport is survived by his mother, Janice K. Davenport; daughter, Haley Davenport; brother, Kenneth Shane Davenport; niece and nephew, Gage and Shayna; several aunts and uncles; and his love, Stephaine Biglow.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Lindsey, Brandon Lindsey, Cody Page, Billy Stone, and Terry Underwood. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made in DeWayne’s memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 220 100 Chase Park, Birmingham, AL 35244.
