Lorene Skinner Bowman

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in the chapel at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Reverend Floyd Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday, October 1, 2012.

Mrs. Bowman was born on April 6, 1935 to Thomas Ewell and Mattie Pearl Roberts Skinner in Echo, AL. She worked many years at Super Foods in Ozark and was a member at Stonebridge Church of God.

Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl B. Bowman; a daughter, Laura Jean Dearmin; a sister, Lois Hughes and her brothers, Loyd, Leon, and Lonnie Skinner.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Tillery (Dwayne) of Troy, AL. and Linda Brown of Ozark, AL; her sons, Larry Bowman (Vicki) of Bertha, AL., Danny Bowman of Bonifay, FL., Donald Bowman (Angie) of Ozark, AL., Bryan Bowman of Ozark, AL. and David Bowman of Troy, AL; also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
