Ruth G Culver Harper

A home going service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Chaplain Adam Mulliner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Rose Baptist Church Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. At the family’s request there will not be a Repass. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Ruth the daughter of Rev. Annis and Mrs. Lola Green was born September 4, 1928. She became a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church at an early age.

She was preceded in the death by her parents, three sisters, Gurtha L. Bryant, Vassie L. Thomas, and Opel Snell; and brother, Thomas Floyd.

Left to cherish her memory, her husband of 65 years, Noah J. Harper of Ozark; one daughter, Diane M. Harper of Skipperville; four grandchildren, Valencia N. Harper of Skipperville, Bobby D. Green, Ryshawn M. Green (Wesley Edwards), and Ciera Green all of Ozark; two sisters, Lera M. McKinnis of Ozark, and Evelyn Williams of Skipperville; two brothers, Marion Thorton, and Thomas Floyd; two brother in laws, OJ Harper (Brenda), and Edger Harper (May Lou); one sister in law, Mollie Brinson; and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

The family wishes to thank everyone for all the prayers, visits, calls, food, and condolences extended to us during our time of bereavement. May God continue to bless you, and keep you is our prayer.
