Sherry Emma Miller Whitman

A graveside service will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Woodlawn Memory Gardens in Ozark with Brother Chris Brown officiating and Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Whitman was born May 5, 1946 to the late Lonnie and Mattie Emma Davis Miller in Coffee County, Alabama. She was an extremely sweet person and never complained despite her physical challenges and always considered family first. Mrs. Whitman was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Fan.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dorothy Cooper.

Mrs. Whitman is survived by her daughters, Laura Lee Adkinson of New Brockton, Gloria Jean Whitman of Enterprise and Sheila Whitman of Elba; a son, Byron James Whitman of Enterprise; her sisters, Joann Hartzog of Deatsville, Betty Smith of Echo and Jennifer Bowen of Ozark; a brother, Leon Miller of Kansas City, Kansas; seven grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Brandon Brewster, Erica Brewster, Haylee Hall, Cory Adkinson, Merisa Harbuck and Seth.
