Alfred Ciano, Jr., 78, of Cedar Creek Merritt Island, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at home surrounded by his children. He was born October 2, 1932, in the Bronx, NY, to Alfred and Rose Ciano. He worked as a financial printer and was a veteran serving in the Marines. Al was a member of the Moose Lodge 2073.
Alfred was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Jean. He will be sadly missed by his children Lorraine and Pat Toomey (NY), Dorothy and Michael Naclerio (NC), Bill and Joanna Ciano (NY), Linda and Norman Wetzel (FL), and Kathy and Stephan Maminakis (FL), and by his sister, Agnes Dolan (NC).
He was a devoted Grandpa of twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Fountainhead Funeral Home Sunday, June 12, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, June 13, at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic. Entombment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park, Palm Bay.
