Anna “Annie” Margaret Dowd Ferrell, 52, of Palm Bay died Saturday (4/19) at her home. A native of Middlesex, NJ, she came to the Palm Bay area in 1972 from New Jersey. Annie was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed being in the outdoors and all the activities that went with being outside. She especially enjoyed fishing, but also horseback riding and just driving around in her car. She loved animals and cooking and everyone knew her as a great judge of character, being able to “size” a person up with just a few minutes visiting with them.
Annie is survived by her husband: Raymond “Ray” Ferrell; two sons: Christopher Dowd of Virginia, David Burke, Jr. of Colorado; daughter-in-law: Kumie Dowd; brother: Brian Forsyth of Virginia; sister: Helen Dowd of Rockledge; two sisters-in-law: Karen Forsyth, Claudette Wells; and one granddaughter: Aurora.
