She was born in Berrien County, Georgia to the late Edward and Thelma Slade.
Betty enjoyed reading, listening to music and playing the organ. She was formerly a secretary at her church.
Betty is survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on June 15th, at 1:00pm. A visitation will be held a half hour prior at Fountainhead Funeral home with interment immediately following at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
Betty will be deeply missed.
