Born in Morristown, NJ, he was the son of Robert and Barbara Willms. He graduated Valley Forge Military Academy in Waune, PA in 1966, and attended University of New Mexico before joining the military.
He served in the US Air Force for 18 years and was a Vietnam veteran.
He enjoyed bowling, good food, classic Southern rock, and NASCAR. He will be remembered for his easy going nature and generosity.
He is survived by brother Frederick, children Kristen, Eric, and Jeffrey, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by parents Robert and Barbara, and beloved wife Sharon
