His Mom, Caroline Battaglia Maruzzella passed in 1982, His Dad, Frank Maruzzella passed in 1989, along with his older sister Lauretta that same year, His younger sister, Maria passed in 2007.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Rosemarie (Curran) Maruzzella, as well as three sons, Joseph (Ashley), Douglas (Jessica) and Michael (Nichole). His most wonderful treasures are his grandchildren, Cameron, Caleb, Adria and Carson.
Carl moved to Palm Bay in 2006 from Sunrise, FL. He volunteered as a V-Cop and also for PAL in Palm Bay. He really enjoyed socializing with the teenagers at the teen center. He also played Santa a few times for the “Breakfast with Santa” in Palm Bay. He also loved having an annual Christmas Party at home and truly enjoyed being with friends and family.
Carl was an avid Dodgers and Dallas Cowboys fan, but his all-time favorite was MCC (Melbourne Central Catholic) baseball. Cameron, his grandson plays for that team and he was just over-the-moon when the team won the State Championship last year. He was so very proud of Cameron and his team. Carl loved all his grandkids, Caleb he found so easy to talk to, Adria he called his little princess, and baby Carson he was able to see last week and he was amazed that he was already walking.
Carl, you will be dearly missed, loved forever and thought of often. Rest in Peace my LOVE.
