Clifford Vess Johnson, 91, of Melbourne died Tuesday (6/4) at this home. A native of Huntington, West Virginia, he came to the Melbourne area in 1986 from Flint, Michigan. He retired from Chevrolet (GM) where he had been an engine inspector at Plant 5 in Flint.
Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Martha Ann Simms Johnson and a daughter: Judy Carol Jenks; e is survived by one daughter: Barbara Bastion of Flushing, Michigan, two sons: Richard Johnson of Flushing, Michigan, Mark Johnson of Melbourne; a special niece: Patty Bennett of Jacksonville; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
