Douglas Franklin Coble passed away peacefuly January 30th, 2025, after a long battle with Parkinson's. He was born in Fayetteville, NC on September 11th, 1940, to Curtis and Elva Coble. Frank was survived by his loving wige Cheryl Coble, son Craig Coble (Tiffany); stepdaughters Angela Edelma (Shawn), Melissa Bowermeister (Bronson), Sonya Stephens; grandchildren Sam, Ava, Wesley, Riley, Charlie, Alexis, and Addison; sister Kaye Coble (Richard), niece Natalie Barnes and nephew Ritchie Coble (Ellie). Frank was preceded in death by daughter Kelly Coble.
Frank graduated from NC State with an aeronautical engineering degree and obtaned hs master's in business from the University of Florida. Frank worked from Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor for 18 years in Melbourne, FL and retired in January of 2006. He was an avid fisherman and scuba diver. He played baseball, rugby, and loved nothing more than watching his grandkids play sports.
There will be no traditional services. Frank's ashes will be released at a future date with family. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please donate to the Michael J. Fox foundation
