Edward Proudly served his country in the US Army and was a Korean War veteran. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, teacher and coach. Upon retirement he and Alice moved to Florida and Edward started playing tennis and quickly became passionate about the game. Edward enjoyed taking his grandchildren to Disney World and Universal Studios. Edward and Alice were members of St Joseph Catholic Church.
Edward is survived by his wife of 61 years Alice; his sons, Edward Kelly, Kevin Kelly and his daughter Mary; grandchildren, Kevin, Edward and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Kaylin.
A visitation for Edward will be held Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Miller Street Chapel, 1422 Miller Street, Palm Bay, FL. A burial will occur at St Joseph Cemetery, Palm Bay, Florida.
