Born in Antigua, Eloise was the daughter of David Horsford and Selena Warner. She attended Hill Secondary School in Antigua and was among the first to play professional netball on the island. During her years there, she served on the police force and was promoted to the rank of corporal. While serving, she was also actively involved in Japanese karate, drama club, band (where she played the saxophone), choir, track and field, and the swim team.
After leaving Antigua, she moved to the Bronx, New York, where she worked for Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company while attending Taft High School. She later reunited with Edric, and they were married on November 13, 1983. In 1987, Eloise and Edric relocated to Florida. She initially worked as a cook at Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center before beginning her career in banking. She went on to work at NationsBank, later Bank of America, where she received several awards and was promoted to head teller and eventually branch manager. She faithfully served in this role until her diagnosis in 2012.
Eloise was a devoted member of Eastwind Pentecostal Church. There, she served as a Sunday school teacher, head greeter, volunteer in the nursing home and shut-in ministry, choir member, and Bible study teacher. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking. Her wedding cakes were stunning, and her Johnny cakes were among her most beloved creations. She never met a stranger she wasn’t willing to help and cared for others whether they were sick or well. Her greatest passion was sharing the message of Jesus Christ and His love. At every opportunity, she shared the gospel and emphasized the importance of being baptized in His name. She will be remembered for her warm hospitality and her genuine love for all she encountered.
She is survived by her husband, Edric Henry; her daughter, Melissa Le Blanc; her son-in-law, Eric Le Blanc Jr.; and her grandchildren, Joshua and Caleb Le Blanc. She is also survived by her sisters, Delores Browne, Danie Horsford, and Davidaire Horsford; and her brothers, Sherwin Warner and David Warner. She was predeceased by her parents.
A Visitation will be held at Eastwind Pentecostal Church, located at 1021 Emerson Drive, NE, in Palm Bay, Florida Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 9:00am to 10:00am. A Funeral Service will immediately follow beginning at 10:00am.
Interment will follow the Celebration of Life Service at Fountainhead Memorial Park, Garden Building #2, located at 7303 Babcock Street SE, in Palm Bay, Florida at 12:00pm.
