Hayden Leroy Cumberbatch, 78, of Palm Bay died at his home on Sunday (1/20). A native of Barbados, W.I., he came to the Palm Bay area in 1996 from Brooklyn, NY. He was a retired educator having worked in the High School system in New York during his career. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Palm Bay.
Survivors include his son: Randall of Brooklyn, NY; daughter: Sandra Jones also of Brooklyn, NY; two brothers: Kane of St Michael, Barbados; Nathaniel of Ajax, Canada; one sister: Joan Cumberbatch of St. James, Barbados; one grandson: Shane Jones of Brooklyn, NY; and four great-granddaughters.
Funeral services will be Friday (2/1) at 3:00 P.M. in the Fountainhead Funeral Chapel with Pastor Monia Yust and Rev. Debra Musgrave officiating. Entombment will follow in the Fountainhead Memorial Park.
