Helen Marie Sheets Sheets Bartram

Helen Marie Sheets Bartram, 91, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away peacefully in her home Friday May 10, 2013 surrounded by her loving daughters. A native of Wurtland, Kentucky, Helen moved to Florida 59 years ago from Michigan.

Although Helen had been retired for many years now, she worked several years for Piper Aircraft, Inc. as a member of the aircraft assembly team. Helen was always passionate about cooking, and loved to share her passion for cooking with others. In recent times, Helen took up a hobby of puzzle books to keep her mind active.

Helen is survived by her two daughters Karen Meeks and Bobbie Kay Crouch, both of Vero Beach, Florida; a sister, Benjeana Knowles of Jacksonville, Florida, and her Uncle Tom Heaberlin of Wurtland, Kentucky, Son-in-law Nelson (Mary) Torres, loyal care giver and daughter by choice Betty K. Smith.

Helen also left behind 7 Grandchildren: Steven J. Lupo, Melody Nadal, Crystie Lupo, Marylynn Meeks, Stephanie Meeks, Karen Mischelle (Tony) Presutti, and Gilbie (Tabitha) McMillan; 13 Great Grandchildren: Cori Lyn (Uriah) Bukowski, Steven J. Lupo Jr., Dominique Nadal, Casey Lupo, Jordan Nadal, Tyler Mclaughlin, Dalton Cairo Dingus, Michael Persutti, Sergio Persutti, Dustin McMillan, Ariana Presutti, and Jared Meeks.; 9 Great Great Grandchildren: Brodi and Aedyn Bukowski, Hannah Ivy Lupo, Reina Grace McMillan, Liam and Zoey McMillan, Saige Mayalynn Lupo, Weston Hunter McLaughlin, Ella Lee McMillan.

Helen was welcomed in Heaven by her husband William Cairo Bartram, daughter LaVena Torres, father Robert Sheets, mother and loving step father who raised her, Benjamin Kaut and Mary Kaut, sisters Goldie Lowe, Ethel Campbell, Opal Duke, Roberta Kaut.

A visitation will be held Saturday May 25, 2013 at 2:00PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home with a service to follow at 3:00PM. Interment will be Fountainhead Memorial Park following the conclusion of services.
