Janet (Weir) Allen, 54, formerly of Youngstown, NY, passed away peacefully at her home in Palm Bay, FL on Thursday (7/11). She was born in Niagara Falls on February 24, 1959, the precious daughter of the late David and Edith Weir.
Janet moved with her family to Horseheads, NY in 1970, where she attended local schools. After graduation, she moved to Florida and worked at Metratek for many years until her illness.
Janet always had a very positive outlook on life and never let life’s hurdles get in her way. She always had a beautiful smile on her face that was infectious to all that knew her.
She is survived by three brothers: David (Carol) Weir, Bruce (Sharon) Weir, and Fred (Lynn) Weir; seven nieces and nephews and ten great-nieces and nephews.
A private family service was held on Saturday (7/13) to celebrate her life.
