Jayne Archer Parker

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bill. A dear mother to Suzie Bowden (Johnny), Billy Parker (Aubrey), Tim Parker (Neva), Steve Parker (Cameron). Beloved Aya to Patricia Esposito (Andy), Brookelyn Cote (Phil), William Bowden (Gaby), Trey Parker (Haley), KaitLynn Williams (Ayden), Jonathan Bowden, Brandon Parker, Tahana Parker, Emily Parker, Jocelyn Parker, Matthew Parker, Timothy Parker, and Warren Parker. A beloved great-grandmother to Juniper, Piper & Copper Cote, Aurora Williams, and Macy Parker. Pre-deceased by her loving parents, John & Helen Archer.

Jayne was born and raised in Key West, Florida and moved to Melbourne, Florida in 2002 to retire and be near her grandchildren. Her profession of 35 years as a chemistry & biology teacher at Key West High School allowed her to influence many young minds in those sciences. Her premed major at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia led to her first professional job as a medical technician in the lab of Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. This passion remained during her teaching years and resulted in a unique partnership that she developed with the hospital in Key West where high school students interested in the medical field could get hands on experience during the school day that resulted in meeting the qualifications to take the CNA exam. She and Bill got their first boat in the late '80s and spent many weekends with family and friends in the waters around Key West island hopping, fishing, snorkeling, tubing, and wakeboarding. Then continued boating in Brevard County another ten years.

She loved and served the Lord faithfully all her life both at Fifth Street Baptist Church in Key West for over 30 years and Calvary Chapel of Melbourne for 20 years.

A Celebration of Life service will take place Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 2:30pm at Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home at 7359 Babcock St SE in Palm Bay, Florida with a reception immediately following at the Community Center Pavilion at Rodes Park in West Melbourne. She will later be laid to rest at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida.
