

Celebrating the life of Karl Henry Stammer Jr. (07-20-1922 - 03-04-2015) Karl Henry Stammer Jr. departed this life for his eternal rest Wednesday March 4, 2015. Karl was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the loving parents of Karl and Dorothy Stammer. After finishing high school Karl worked as a machinist for the U.S. Government. In 1944, he was drafted into the United States Army and served in World War II under General Patton (13th Armored Division, The Black Cats). He moved to Warner Robins, Georgia and later retired to Palm Bay,FL. He worked the majority of his life in Civil Service for the U.S. Air Force. Karl enjoyed golfing, working with wood and home building.
Karl leaves to mourn his loving son James Stammer and his wife Kym of Port St. Lucie, FL; his step-son Gordon Snell of New Hartford, NY; his step-Daughter Judith Williams of Anderson S.C., his brother Anthony Stammer of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; his sister Margaret Pineda of Quarryville, Pennsylvania; and grandchildren Kristen, Paul and Alyssa Stammer, and Steven Wolcott.
Services will be held this Sunday March 8, 2015 at Fountainhead Funeral Home Chapel 7359 Babcock St. SE Palm Bay, FL. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon and services at 1:00 pm. Interment immediately following services at Fountainhead Memorial Cemetery.
