On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, Kathleen (Keen) Muriel Fongemie Beaulieu, loving wife of Kenneth J. Beaulieu, passed away at the age of 72 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida. They shared 51 years of marriage filled with love, laughter and cherished memories of the life they lived together. Kathleen was the beloved mother of three children, three grandchildren, a sister, daughter, aunt, and cousin.
Kathleen was born in Madawaska, Maine on March 10, 1949, to Albert Fongemie and Lucienne Dionne. As a child growing up in northern Maine, she would pick the potato fields each year for “25 cents” a barrel. Growing up with 4 siblings and many cousins on both her mother and fathers’ side of the family, she babysat quite frequently which she enjoyed immensely. After earning her high school diploma from Madawaska High School, she then moved with friends to Connecticut to live and work. There she met and married her future husband, Kenneth. In addition to being a loving, nurturing and dedicated mother and wife, she helped to support her family working at Home Depot for over 20 years. Kathleen and Kenneth retired and moved to Malabar, FL to enjoy life, travel and treasure their children and grandchildren. She was giving and generous with her time, charities, and love and was committed wholeheartedly to family life. Her positivity, grace and joy in which she lived her life was infectious to all that knew and loved her.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her father Albert; her mother Lucienne, her brother Clarence and her sister-in-law, Edwina. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; their three children, Rachel, Neil, Nicole and her husband Shawn; her sister Jeannine and husband Andre; her brother Gerald and his wife Bernadette and Joel; her grandchildren Garrett, William and Alyssa, and countless loving cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
