She married Jesus Gomez and was widowed at 40 years of age and never remarried. She is survived by eight children, Manuel, Benigno, Leobardo, Jose, Felipe, Rosa, Bertha, and Raul. She has over 100 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Maria was a homemaker and was very loved in the community of Fellsmere. She was a giving, caring and loving mother and grandmother.
A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 12896 Co. Road 512, Fellsmere, FL 32948. A graveside service will occur Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
