She worked many years for the school system in Virginia Beach and was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Barefoot Bay. Mary enjoyed volunteering at the library in Barefoot Bay, reading, and singing in the choir.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bernard A. Schreiber in March 2002.
She is survived by 3 sons: Tim(Gina) Schreiber of Virginia Beach, Bernie(Jan) Schreiber, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Leo(Donna) Schreiber of Keysville, VA; 4 daughters: Sharon(Mark) Betcher of Dunnellon, FL, Susan(Richard) McCrea of Cocoa, FL, Nancy Schreiber of Melbourne, FL, and Janet(John) Young of Melbourne, FL; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday (1/18) at 2PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, FL or to any public library.
