I have so many memories of my late uncle Michael from when i was a child 
I remember spending a lot of my childhood at his house in Guyana where he thought me how to dance as a child i had great respect for him
Everyone from the smallest  kid to the adults knew him from the sound of his c1000 motorbike you can tell he was coming, his cologne was very distinct i can remember on his dresser had all these different fragrances all different shapes and sizes of bottles i use to love spending time at his house there was one time he decided he wanted to cook he boiled green plantains and eddoes and crush them makes them into balls and stick hot peppers on them for decoration and he was so proud lol 😂 there are so many good memories i have i went to spend some time with him in Tennessee a few years ago he was so happy to haber there we talk about so many things i cooked for him what ever he desired and he would always tell me i reminded him of my mom his sister Joy who he called Tarzan when they were children and he still called her that even as adults. One Sunday he was taking me and my baby girl for a drive in Tennessee so he made a snack for.us to take with us i have never had it before..well not together anyways
He took a red.bell pepper and 1 half ripened mango cut them in the shape of french fries added salt i was looking at him thinking what is he doing but omg it was delicious and ever since then i make that bell pepper and mango snack while i was there we had a lot to talk about he loved  life i will cherish all of the memories i have with uncle aka the one and only Bundar sip my dear uncle we will see each other again one day i know you're with our heavenly father love always your neice

So many wonderful memories compliments of Michael , Bundar's irrepressible , exuberant , over joyous spirit, your love of life was infectious, with your festive personality and generous heart, you made everyone around you smile.  As I reminisce  on our time  spent together, I am both saddened and thankful,  from our youthful day growing up in Guyana to our time spent in New York, all of the motor cycle rides, the parties the friendships, the laughter and tears, all melts my heart.  Through all the ups and downs you have  been a steadfast friend and support to me, and I will  miss you dearly , and even though you did not make a 100 years  as you had hoped,  rest assured that the life and legacy that you have lived, shared and gifted had left an indelible mark on they hearts of those who were fortunate to know you.

May God keep you and may you rest in Heavenly peace 🌹🌺💜

Bundar and I became acquainted when we were both teenagers in Guyana in the seventies! I lost contact with him when I emigrated to Canada in 1978! We reconnected after I re-emigrated to the USA in 1981. Over the years, we bumped into each other occasionally. We even shared a few drinks. The last time I saw him was about 20 years ago! The news of his passing gave me reason for pause, because it is a stark reminder of the fact that our time on this planet is limited! Mike was a larger than life figure! He didn’t simply exist! He lived his life! His way! His body and soul might be gone, but his legacy lives on!

To Our Dear Mikey, Bundar, and My Beloved Friend,

I am deeply saddened by this loss. Our memories, like small packages of happiness, are treasures that time can't diminish. From the carefree days of our youth to the joyous motorcycle rides, every moment was a testament to the friendship we shared. Life was an adventure, and Bundar made it unforgettable.

As we reminisce about Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the routine of work on Mondays, and the cycle repeating for years, I realize how blessed we were to experience such camaraderie. There are not enough words to capture the essence of our relationship. Priya, you resemble him so much; it's as if he lives on in you.

In the photographs, I see the echoes of our laughter, the faces of friends like Elizabeth and Moreen, who added to the tapestry of our lives. The thought of saying goodbye is both heart-wrenching and a celebration of a life well-lived. Michael’s spirit, so full of fun, will forever remain in our hearts.

I may not be ready to witness the final farewell, but I take solace in knowing that his legacy lives on through cherished memories. Priya, in times of grief, remember I am here for you. Take care of your mom, and when you need comfort, I'll be just a call away.

Though words may falter, know that my love for your family is unwavering. Your father was more than a friend; he was a brother, and I am grateful for the time we shared.

I will always hold dear the lively and warm spirit that Mike brought into our lives, creating an ever-welcoming atmosphere. His unmistakable love for my Aunt Coco and his daughter, Priya, radiated brightly. 

One cherished memory is our delightful shopping trip at Babies R Us, where I witnessed his pure excitement for Priya's imminent arrival. Another heartwarming moment during our Lake George vacation involved a playful driving challenge, with Mike humorously trailing behind, playfully insisting it was to avoid a ticket—truly a classic Michael!

I just wanted to share with you that your father had the biggest light and smile for life. He loved to dance, joke around and was a sharp dresser.  I remember my cousin and I racing him down Rockway Avenue and the Belt Parkway on our night adventures in Queens- he loved the need for speed.   He made me drink so much one night; I could not walk straight. I had to crawl on my hands and knees to my apartment on the 4th floor (no elevator).  

Take comfort in knowing your father loved and cherish you.  A lot of girls grow up not knowing their father.  The ups and downs in life molds us into the adult we become.  He was always very proud of your independence, your smarts and beauty.  Cherish your memories and hold your mom close .   May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this challenging time.
