It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael "Bundar'' Dowlat Callahan Singh, who peacefully left this world on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at William Childs Hospice in Palm Bay, Florida. Born on June 6, 1954, on Hadfield Street in Lodge, Georgetown, Guyana, Bundar's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, laughter, and community.
Bundar's journey began in the vibrant streets of Georgetown, where he developed the warmth and resilience that would become his hallmark. As he grew, so did his spirit of adventure and zest for life. His roots in Guyana remained close to his heart, shaping his character and influencing the deep connections he formed throughout his life.
Bundar's love knew no bounds. He provided unwavering support and guidance as a father, husband, son, and brother. His home was a haven of warmth, laughter, and shared moments that will forever be cherished by those he leaves behind.
Passion marked Bundar's journey for motorcycles, cars, parties, gardening, craftsmanship, and being a fly dresser, a source of joy he shared with friends and family. Whether winning racing championships with his boys or fixing cars and bikes, Bundar's larger-than-life charisma was contagious, creating lasting memories for everyone fortunate enough to join him on these adventures.
Bundar became an integral part of the community, touching the lives of many in Guyana, and beyond. His out-of-the-box thinking, generosity, and infectious smile made him a beloved, special, and unique figure, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of Bundar's life will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at Fountainhead Funeral Home in Palm Bay, Florida.
