

She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Purita E. Ambat and Evelyn Episcope, and her brother-in-law Pablo Ambat. Loving Auntie to Cherry, Rachel, Ariel, Agnes, Royce, and other nieces and nephews. Doting grand-aunt to Jennifer, Roderick, Julius, Tristan, Timothy, and Lindsay. Rosita is pre-deceased by her brothers Irineo Jr and Teodoro, and her parents Claudia and Irineo Sr.
Rosie was born in Manila, Philippines on December 20th, 1929, to and came to New York City in 1968. She worked at Queens General Hospital. In her spare time, she would babysit the children of her nieces and nephew. In 1998, she moved to Malabar, Florida. She enjoyed gardening and collecting the fruits from the trees in the backyard. She was a wonderful home cook and baker. Rosie loved to sightsee around North America and go fishing with family and friends. As a faithful servant of the Lord, she attended Melbourne Church of Christ.
A visitation gathering for Rosie will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 at 5:00pm at Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Florida. A celebration of Rosie’s life will be held the following day, Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 2:30pm at Fountainhead Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 3:00pm. Rosie will be laid to rest at Fountainhead Memorial Park following the service.
