Celebrating the life of Smith Ollie Polston Jr. (02-15-1949 – 04-18-2015) Smith Ollie Polston Jr. departed this life for his eternal rest Saturday, April 18,2015. Smith was born in Austin, Texas and was raised in Waco, Texas at Waco State Home.
Smith served in the US Navy from 1969 to 1973. He toured several duties aboard the USS Cambria and the USS Shreveport.
He met and married his wife (thru a blind date) Linda Polston. They were married 47 years. He enjoyed old model cars. His favorite was the 1957 Chevy.
Smith will be mourned by his loving wife Linda Polston; one sister Bertha Jane Polston from Waco, Texas; one half brother W. John Moore of Austin, Texas.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 9th, 2015 at Fountainhead Funeral Home chapel beginning at 2:00pm.
