I just learned of Tom’s passing. Tom and I were roommates in college at Georgia. What a great guy and the adventures we had! Tom and I spent many afternoons playing frisbee golf in Athens.

Tom and I lost contact until he tracked me down this past summer. He left a long message on my office answering machine. The girls at the office listened to Tom recount some of our escapades in college which they found hilarious as they had no idea I wasn’t always so straight laced and boring.

Tom and I were able to reconnect and catch up. We made plans to get together after the COVID died down. Tom and I both agreed that those years in Athens and playing frisbee golf and going to football games were some of the best of our lives.

Now I know why he hasn’t returned my recent calls. Tom, you were the best and I will always remember you my friend and the great times we had.

Prayers to the family for their loss.

For all Tom may or may have not been, he was my neighbor and friend. Spent 17 years watching Adrienne, Tom and the kids grow. Wasn't always peaceful or quiet, but if we ever needed anything, we knew where we could go. Hope we were considered good neighbors, been there through a lot of things together (like watching Dewey the bird hump a pillow- we can NEVER unsee that!) Will always remember the day Tom and I spent together while our neighborhood was on fire and locked down from the rest of the world.
Wish the girls the best- they have been through so much in their young lives.
With love, peace, and hope.
Prayers,
Keith and Angel

I can recall that Tom was a excellent student at Gables High. He was always a gentleman and had a great sense of humor. He made me laugh on several occasions.
I played on the O line with him, and when I didn’t know my assignment Tom would quietly tell me what to do. I never heard a coach yell at him because he was a smart offensive guard. You will be missed Tom. Rest In Peace.

Just heard the sad news about Tom. Tom and I started together at FPL 1980, it was a two week orientation. Haven’t talked to him in years but what a great guy. Rest easy brother!

I knew Tom as a quiet, gentle person during Gables days and early college years. He always appreciated good music like the Allman Brothers and Beach Boys. Although we hadn't had contact for decades, I had a recent opportunity to connect, and reminisce about family and friends. Rest in peace, old friend.

Tom, way back to the youth center and Coach Atwood, Tinsman and the gang. Never once heard you complain. Excellent player and the ultimate teammate. Prayers for your family. You’ll see familiar faces in heaven. God bless you and your family.
