

Vincent J. Fusco, 88, of Barefoot Bay, FL died January 3, 2014 peacefully in his sleep and surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Paterson, NJ living and growing up in the Italian section before he moved to Paramus, NJ then retired to Barefoot Bay, FL where he lived for 25 years.
He is survived by his companion of 30 years, Jean Berlingeri; and her children: Barbara Neary of Toms River, NJ, Christine McLean of Martha’s Vineyard, MA, Angela Berlingeri of Russell, Ohio, Joseph Berlingeri of Siletz, OR, Theodore Berlingeri of Dumont, NJ; one daughter, Linda Fusco of Prospect Park, NJ; three step-children, Debra Raia of Port Jervis, NY, Robert Adam of Paterson, NJ, Roberta Adam of Paramus, NJ; two sisters: Marge Andredotta of Belmar, NJ and Marie Pitman of Wayne, NJ; as well as Jean’s many nieces and nephews; and a Godchild: Marie Berg. He will be missed.
He was predeceased by his father and mother: Joseph and Mary; brother, Nickolas (Nicky) and two sisters: Celia Ruggiero and Constance Cieslak.
Vincent served in the Army during WWII and took park in the Battle of the Bulge. He enjoyed wood-carving. He was a master carpenter and worked on many projects. His hobbies included wood carving, which won him many awards, fishing, and boating. He also loved animals.
