He was the husband of Emelyn (Emmie) Comeau. They shared 41 years of being together.
William joined the Air Force at age 17 during the Korean Conflict and honorable served 4 years.
He later continued his education with two years of college studying Theology.William enjoyed 29 years of retirement after working for Xerox Corporation where he was an electrician. He and Emmie moved to Florida in 1990, starting a new chapter of their lives. His greatest accomplishment was his love and devotion for our Lord. Mr. Comeau was ordained as a minister and spent many years serving in a hospital ministry. William will long be remembered for his sense of humor, sharp wit and a winning smile. He had a love for others and a heart for caring and sharing.
He is survived by his wife Emelyn, his son William J Comeau (Leslie), daughter Judy Hess and his son David Comeau (Patricia), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his brother-in-law Vernon Ford.
He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Leah Comeau and father William J Comeau, three sisters, Yvonne Taverna, Phyliss Church, Annette Comeau, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Charlotte and Vernon Ford.
A memorial service for William will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Lockmar Baptist Church, 700 Emerson Drive NE, Palm Bay, FL 32907.
