William Heffernan, 78, of Palm Harbor, passed away March 16, 2012. He was a retired Lieutenant form the New York City Police Department and a USAF veteran from 1952-1956. He moved to Florida in 1993 from North Valley Stream, NY. He is survived by 2 sons, Bryan (Susan) of Coatesville, PA; Gerard of Holiday, FL; a sister, Mary DeCota of Levittown, NY and 1 grandson, Christopher of Coatesville, PA.
